As always, a new season indicates a change in strips for Premier League clubs. The launching of new kits is very important for clubs as it helps to generate a commercial windfall especially in this period where clubs have incurred losses due to COVID-19.

Now let’s take a look at the new jerseys for Premier League clubs ahead of next season:

Arsenal

Arsenal’s new home kit for the 2020/21 season pays tribute to the Gunners’ geometric crest which existed for 13 years between 1936 and 1949. Adidas have retained the iconic red shirt with white sleeves, but the body features a chevron graphic which is inspired by the ‘A’ within.

Aston Villa

Villa’s new kit was made by Kappa and sponsored by Cazoo who makes its debut as Aston Villa front of shirt sponsor after a deal was announced back in June. A clean look, the Kappa Aston Villa 2020-2021 home shirt is claret with blue raglan sleeves and white logos, based on the latest Kappa KOMBAT template.

Brighton

Brighton & Hove Albion’s new 2020-2021 home strip was just released in the final game of the 2019-20 Premier League season, against Burnley. Club ambassador and legend Bobby Zamora, who narrated the stylish Fine Margins launch video and made a cameo appearance, said, “I love the new strip. I was surprised when I first saw it on the video shoot, but it looks absolutely stunning.

Chelsea

The Blues launched their new kit towards the end of last season. Nike says Chelsea’s new home and away kit feature the club’s new sponsor, telecommunications company Three, and is inspired by London’s “long association with master tailors and their exquisite craftsmanship”.

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace launched new PUMA home, away and third kits for the 2020/21 season, released together under the tagline ‘These Colours Unite Us All’. Modelled at Selhurst Park by Jordan Ayew, Christian Benteke, Luka Milivojevic, Tyrick Mitchell, Jairo Riedewald, Jeffrey Schlupp and Joel Ward – as well as new signing Nathan Ferguson, showing off the home strip – the three eye-catching kits follow a symmetrical design pattern for the first time since the promotion campaign of 2012-13.

Everton

The new 2020/21 homekit will include hummel’s iconic chevrons across the shoulders and sleeves of Everton’s famous royal blue jersey for the first time. The kit pays tribute to the Club’s iconic Z-Cars anthem with an image of the song’s soundbar expanded and embossed diagonally across the shirt.

Leicester

Leicester City’s new home kit surprisingly features a new ‘sponsor’. King Power and the club have reached an agreement with the Tourism Authority of Thailand that sees ‘Thailand Smiles With You’ appear on the front of the Leicester 20-21 player kits – replica fan versions still have the King Power logo.

Liverpool

On the back of winning their first-ever Premier League title in style – becoming the fastest team in top-flight history to win the Premiership – Liverpool commemorated their status as newly-crowned champions with a brand-new kit under Nike.

Manchester City

The Etihad club released their latest home strip under Puma on July 16, the signature light blue design inspired by the artwork of legendary figures as seen in Manchester’s iconic Northern Quarter. The kit sports the club’s trademark sky blue hue with a mosaic pattern alongside navy accents, with the look completed by white shorts and light blue socks.

Manchester United

Manchester United have unveiled their new kit for next season, which is inspired by their iconic “Red Devil” crest that was adopted in 1973. Manufacturers Adidas say that, in keeping with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s mission to place club identity at the heart of his rejuvenated team, the new shirt is infused with “Manchester United DNA”

Newcastle

Newcastle United and PUMA have released the Magpies’ new home kit which will be worn by the club’s men’s, women’s and youth teams during the 2020/21 season. The 2020/21 home kit is comprehensive with mythical black shorts and black socks, which have white hoops to the outer side of the leg. The Magpies wore it for the first time in their final-day assignment against Premier League champions Liverpool.

Sheffield United

A clean look, the Adidas Sheffield United 20-21 home shirt is white with three red stripes on the front, based on the Adidas Condivo 20 template. The red stripes feature a subtle pattern, one that was first used on the Argentina 2018 World Cup shirt.

Southampton

Southampton’s new kits are made by U.S. company Under Armour, their long-term partner, and the home jersey is a gorgeous all red shirt with a white diagonal sash with the third kit a white jersey with a red diagonal sash. The diagonal sash design pays homage to the original Southampton kits in 1885, as players wore a white shirt and then had a red sash to put over their shoulders.

Tottenham

Spurs have kept the classic blue and white look for their new home kit, while the away kit is a new look with a green number. The north London club says all kits are made from 100 percent recycled polyester fabric, and here are some more details on the inspiration for the home and away jerseys for the 2020-21 season.

West Brom

West Bromwich Albion’s new kits once again feature the iconic stripes, a staple of Albion’s colours and it is again made by Puma and sponsored by the Ideal Boilers company. Both shirts feature the ‘barcode’ design, reportedly drawing inspiration from one of the club’s most popular seasons, the 1992/93 promotion from Division Two.

West Ham

West Ham’s new kits were manufactured by Umbro, hark back to the Hammers’ glory days and even features a new retro-inspired club badge. Simple, clean and crisp, the classic claret and blue design were designed following consultation with supporters. The shorts are white, with vista blue and new claret contrast tipping on the side panels. The socks are also white, with contrasting double hoops in claret and vista blue and ‘WHU’ embroidered on the back.

Wolves

A clean look, the adidas Wolves 20-21 football shirt has an amber body and black sleeves with thick amber cuffs. The collar aims to replicate this design – it’s black with amber piping. The front of the adidas Wolverhampton Wanderers 2020-2021 home football shirt features a tonal pattern, apparently the same one used on the 2018 Spain away shirt.
